Jesse Lee D asked:

Is there anyway to sex an immature Green Iguana, and if not, at what age does sexing become possible? Also, what are the morphological differences between the two sexes?

There are several ways… the best would be have a vet check it out but there are also visual cues. Usually males will extent there underneck flap in a display of dominence. The large scale in the region under the ear opening will be larger in males… Hope this helps…

Males have enlarged femoral pores which become more apparent with age. Look underside of hind legs for femoral pores.

You usually can not tell the sex of an iguana until a year of age. You can if your herp/reptile vet if they feels comfy w/ doing sex of your iguana for you, but personally I like to wait for that time.
